TACLOBAN CITY —- Four more individuals in Eastern Visayas succumbed to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), bringing the death toll in the region to 107.
The Department of Health (DOH) said three of the new fatalities died on Dec. 12, while the other one passed away last Dec. 10.
On Dec. 12, the province of Northern Samar logged two new deaths involving two men—-a 67-year-old from San Roque town and a 58-year-old from San Vicente town.
The province currently has 18 recorded deaths due to COVID-19 complications.
Ormoc City in Leyte, on the other hand, had two new deaths involving a 78-year-old woman and a 62-year-old man.
