MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte is not fond of the criticisms of Dr. Anthony Leachon, who is a former adviser of the National Task Force against COVID-19 (NTF), Malacaang said Monday.
According to presidential spokesperson Harry Roque, Leachon has been repeatedly cursed by Duterte in his speeches but were only edited out in aired videos.
Roque said this after Leachon questioned the government’s decision to supposedly prioritize coronavirus vaccines from firms that have yet to produce enough efficacy and safety data.
