MANILA, Philippines — The tail-end of a frontal system will bring scattered rains to the eastern section of Northern Luzon while the rest of Luzon will have isolated rain showers on Monday due to the northeast monsoon or “amihan” according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
Based on the weather forecast issued by Pagasa at 4 a.m., the Cordillera Administrative Region and Cagayan Valley will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the tail-end of a frontal system, or a weather system that forms due to the interaction of the cold northeast monsoon and warm easterly winds.
