MANILA, Philippines — The Manila police arrested twenty two persons for holding a drinking binge and disregarding COVID-19 health protocols in a gathering at the Manila North Cemetery Saturday evening.
Police Lieutenant Colonel John Guiagui on Sunday said the 22 individuals were spotted without face masks and face shields during a drinking binge.
“Sa binyag, the thing is naginuman sila [suspects] sa labas and ang daming tao na nagiinuman sa kalye even without mask and faceshield,” Guiagui told INQUIRER.net in a text message.
(They were drinking outside, there was a lot of people drinking on the street without masks and face shields.)…
