MANILA, Philippines — The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) will issue a memorandum instructing local government units to prepared for the possible influx of the more contagious Delta variant of COVID-19.
“In the coming days, the DILG will issue a memorandum to remind our local government units to prepare as soon as possible strategies on the possible local transmission of the COVID delta variant,” Interior Secretary Eduardo Ao said, speaking partly in Filipino, during the taped weekly briefing with President Rodrigo Duterte.
