MANILA, Philippines — Herd immunity may be achieved in San Juan City by the end of August, Mayor Francis Zamora said Monday.
According to Zamora, as of July 11, the city has so far vaccinated 96,610 residents with at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine
The city mayor added that 70 percent of the city’s population has already received the first dose of the vaccine.
“At the rate, we are going, at the rate, we are vaccinating now, I believe we will be able to achieve herd immunity by end of August this year,” Zamora said.
