MANILA, Philippines–PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial said that 95 percent of the players and the league’s staff have been fully vaccinated while the rest are set to receive their second dose.
There are, however, “two or three” players who are waiting for their preferred vaccine brands while there are those who are scared of getting the vaccine.
“There are two to three players who are waiting for a brand they like while the other ones are scared of getting the vaccine and we respect that,” said Marcial.
The PBA has gained the approval of the national government to get its 46th season going on July 16.
