CEBU CITY — Local government officials and stakeholders met Tuesday to discuss the new protocol allowing the entry of domestic visitors who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 even without a negative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction test.
Lawyer Lizer Malate, head of the Mandaue City Vaccination Operations Center, said IATF’s newest protocol is a good way to encourage people to get vaccinated.
However, there should be a synchronized policy for the entire province, he said.
Malate said they were still waiting for a uniform policy from the provincial government and the cities of Cebu and Lapu-Lapu.
