Tarlac logs 78 new COVID-19 cases, 5 deaths

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga—-The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) had infected at least 78 more people and killed five others in Tarlac, the provincial government reported on Monday, July 5.

Twenty-seven of the new patients are from the provincial capital of Tarlac City; nine from Concepcion town; seven each from Bamban and Paniqui; six each from Capas, Gerona, and Victoria; three from Camiling; two from La Paz; and one each from Anao, San Manuel, Mayantoc, Pura, and Ramos.

The oldest among the new cases is a 97-year-old woman from La Paz, who had no known exposure to a COVID-19 patient. The youngest is a 3-month-old baby from Tarlac City, who also had no known exposure to a COVID-19-…
