DOH: 104 more people succumb to COVID-19

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) on Tuesday added 104 more people to the COVID-19 death count in the country.

The DOH’s latest case bulletin showed these latest deaths brought the total fatality count to 25,296 as of July 6.

To date, the country recorded a total of 1,445,832 confirmed COVID-19 cases. Of this, 49,613 remain active while 1,370,923 have recovered.

Of the active cases, 2.2 percent are severe and 1.5 percent are critical that are at higher risk for death. The remaining 90.8 percent are mild, 3.9 percent are asymptomatic, and 1.62 are moderate cases, according to DOH.
