MANILA, Philippines — Senator Manny Pacquiao’s flight to Los Angeles, California, USA made an emergency landing in Japan due to a medical emergency of one of the passengers.
Pacquiao’s camp confirmed that the senator was one of the passengers of Philippine Airlines (PAL) flight PR102 which had to turn back after leaving for Los Angeles on Saturday night.
PAL spokesperson Cielo Villaluna told INQUIRER.net that one of the passengers required medical assistance which prompted the plane to make an emergency landing in Haneda, Japan.
The medical emergency was addressed after medical personnel in Haneda provided support to the passenger.
