100-year-old man among 34 new COVID-19 patients in San Pablo

LUCENA CITY—-Thirty-four new COVID-19 cases, including a male centenarian, were recorded in San Pablo City Thursday, bringing the total number of active infections in the city to 368, health authorities said.

The city’s Anti-COVID-19 Task Force reported in its 6 p.m. bulletin on July 1 that among the new virus carriers is a 100-year-old male, from the village of Sta. Maria Magdalena, and five other citizens — two males and three females — aged 60 to 81.

The centenarian is the oldest resident in the city to have caught the virus, but has not been showing any symptoms, according to the report.
