MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines has administered 11 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, one million of which given in just four days, the National Task Force against COVID-19 (NTF) said Friday.
NTF deputy chief implementer Vince Dizon said the administration of one million doses from June 28 to July 1 was the fastest since the government began its vaccination drive in March.
“Sa loob lamang po ng apat ng araw, mula Lunes hanggang Huwebes, isang milyong doses ang nai-jab natin. Ito po ang pinakamabilis na na-jab natin simula noong tayo’y nag launch ng ating vaccination program,” Dizon said in a televised briefing.
