MANILA, Philippines — Metro Manila’s general community quarantine (GCQ) status may not be eased yet, presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said Monday as the current classifications are set to lapse after June 30.
Members of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) are set to meet this Monday afternoon to discuss quarantine classifications of areas for the month of July, Roque said.
“I will not pre-judge pero sa tingin ko po ay GCQ po ang ating current quarantine classifications sa Metro Manila, e siguro po mahirap po magbago ng classification as of now,” Roque said in an online press briefing.
