MANILA, Philippines — The funeral cortege of former President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III’s has arrived at the Manila Memorial Park in Paraaque City.
Aquino remains will be laid to rest next to his parents—Senator Benigno Aquino Jr. and former President Corazon Aquino.
During the funeral mass at the Church of Gesu at the Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City, Ballsy Aquino-Cruz, sister of the late former chief executive, said her brother was the type who never wanted to be a “burden” to his family.
