LEGAZPI CITY —Police arrested on Wednesday a suspected New People’s Army (NPA) leader in Uson town in Masbate province, a police report said.
Jennifer Nuez, 45, a secretary of a local rebel group under Ka Daddy Command Larangan 1 guerilla front operating in Masbate province, was collared by police armed with a warrant of arrest in her home, Police Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said in the report.
The report did not mention where in Uson Nuez was arrested or what time.
According to the report, the suspect is the wife of Rico Nuez, alias “Aron” or “Dods,” commander of the guerilla unit of the Bicol Regional Party Committee.
