MANILA, Philippines — Taguig City once again recorded one of the lowest active COVID-19 cases in Metro Manila and even among major cities in the world as of December 5.
Taguig City Mayor Lino Cayetano, citing data from the city epidemiology disease surveillance unit as of Dec. 5, said Taguig’s five active cases per 100,000 population were far less than the 20 cases per 100,000 population recorded in the entire Metro Manila.
Taguig’s 45 active cases were also one of the lowest in Metro Manila, after Malabon and Pateros, which registered 34 active cases each.
