DFA records 7 new COVID-19 cases among overseas Filipinos

MANILA, Philippines — An additional seven Filipinos abroad have contracted COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections to 20,431, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said Sunday.
 
According to the DFA’s latest bulletin, 7,115 of the total infections are active cases, as of June 20.
 
No new deaths and recoveries were reported among Filipinos abroad. This means the number of recoveries remains at 12,096 and the number of deaths is still 1,220.

 
The DFA said COVID-positive Filipinos are found in 94 countries with 11,532 in the Middle East and Africa; 4,383 in the Asia-Pacific region…
