MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) said Friday it will look into the reported discrepancies in the number of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines that were delivered in the country from the Covax Facility.

Based on the report of vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. before the Senate Committee of the Whole on Tuesday, the country has already received a total of 2,469,870 doses of Pfizer vaccine from Covax.

This figure is composed of the 2,276,820 doses that arrived this month and the 193,050 doses that arrived in May, according to data from the National Task Force against COVID-19.
