TACLOBAN CITY — The vaccination campaign in this city will resume next week with the arrival of fresh vaccine supplies.
Dr. Gloria Fabrigas, the city’s health officer, said the city has received 5,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine from the Department of Health (DOH) on June 17, on top of its existing 1,175 doses of the same vaccine.
“We will resume our vaccination Monday next week [June 21] and this will continue [depending on the availability of the vaccines],” she said in a phone interview.
The City Health Office (CHO) earlier suspended the vaccination rollout due to its increasing number of COVID-19.
