Nicole Laurel-Asensio wasn’t feeling as festive as the Christmas dcor she was going over when the idea behind her latest Christmas single “Hope I See You This Christmas,” released on Spotify last Friday, began percolating in her mind.
The song, written in just 15 minutes, made Nicole think about the true meaning of Christmas. She explains, “Even if we recount everything the pandemic took away from us, we can still celebrate the true meaning of Christmas without the fanfare. After all, isn’t Christmas really about giving Him thanks and praise?”
