NCR’s new COVID-19 cases lower by 17% than previous week — OCTA

MANILA, Philippines — The average number of new COVID-19 cases in Metro Manila has decreased by 17 percent in the last seven days, OCTA Research said Friday.

According to OCTA Research, Metro Manila recorded an average of 926 new COVID-19 cases from June 4 to 10, lower than the average of 1,116 new COVID-19 cases from the previous week.

The report of the research group also showed that the reproduction number in the capital region for the previous week was at 0.72 while the average daily attack rate (ADAR) was 6.7, which means the risk level in the region is moderate.
