MANILA, Philippines — Gyms, fitness studios, and indoor non-contact sports venues are now allowed to operate at 30% venue capacity in NCR Plus, Malacaang announced Friday.
However, they must get a safety seal certification first, presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said.
He said the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases allowed this during a meeting on Thursday.
Indoor non-contact sports venues include skating rinks, racket sports, and the like, Roque added.
Historical sites and museums in NCR Plus are also now allowed at 20% venue capacity, provided they follow health and safety protocols and secure the approval of the local governmen…
