LUCENA CITY —- A 37-year-old farmer drowned in a creek in Nasugbu town in Batangas province Wednesday, June 2, police said Thursday.
A report from Nasugbu police identified the victim as Jhonaz Ducay, a resident of Barangay Tumalim.
The police said the body of the victim, who was reportedly drunk when the incident happened, was found submerged in the creek near his house around 3 p.m.
Investigators learned that the victim would often pass at the creek as it provided a shorter way to his home.
