MANILA, Philippines — The Commission on Appointments (CA) on Wednesday confirmed the nominations and ad interim appointments for 29 senior officers in the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
Earlier in the day, the CA’s Committee on National Defense deliberated on and recommended for plenary approval the nominations and ad interim appointments of the AFP officers.
Among the officers that secured the CA’s nod to the promotion ofEastern Mindanao Command chief Greg Almerol to the rank ofLieutenant General.
