Pampanga’s capital city inoculates 1,605 elderly residents vs COVID-19

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga —- Some 1,605 elderly persons here have received full vaccination against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, the city government here disclosed Thursday, May 27.

It said 1,260 seniors got their first and second doses of vaccines May 24 during a whole day inoculation activity.

The city government said a total of 8,479 elderly have received their first dose of anti-COVID-19 vaccines.

On May 28, it expects to vaccinate 1,300 older residents.

The city government said more than 40,000 senior citizens here need to be inoculated.
