LUCENA CITY —- Police arrested a former drug convict who yielded over P500,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation in Lucban town in Quezon province on Thursday.
Col. Erickson Dilag, Quezon police chief, reported that anti-narcotics agents arrested Jefferson Abogado, 35, and alias “Boss Jeff” after he sold five sachets of shabu to an undercover police officer acting as a drug user in Barangay 8 around 10 p.m.
Authorities confiscated 25 grams of shabu with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P170,000. The seized crystal meth is worth P511,100 in the street market.
