LEGAZPI CITY —- An alleged high-value target (HVT) illegal drug peddler was arrested on Sunday night with P345,000 worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth) in a drug sting at a beach resort in Sorsogon City’s Bacon District, police said Monday.
Samuel Azas, 41, a resident of Barangay San Juan, was caught selling shabu to an undercover agent at a police drug operation inside the resort in Barangay Caricaran around 5 p.m., according to Police Colonel Arturo Brual, Sorsogon police chief.
Police operatives recovered from the suspect a sachet of shabu weighing 50 grams.
