Cops serenade 10 Quirino mothers on Mother’s Day

CABARROGUIS, Quirino — Police here serenaded 10 mothers who belong to the poor families in two far-flung villages of the town of Aglipay and Cabarroguis in Quirino province to celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday (May 9).

The mothers also received cakes, flowers, and food packages from the members of the 1st Quirino Provincial Mobile Force Company (QPMFC) and its advisory council.

Lt. Col. Ernesto Nebalasca, 1st QPMFC commander, told the Inquirer that they chose nine indigent mothers from Barangay Dumabel in Aglipay and one from Barangay (village) Banuar in Cabarroguis.

He said that they pooled their own money, along with those from some donors for the surprise.
