MANILA, Philippines — Mothers are “equal partners in parenting, yet in many cases, [they] are the law in the family,” the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) chief said in celebration of Mother’s Day.
“More than the law, your love keeps your family going,” said IBP president Domingo Egon Cayosa in a statement on Sunday.
“The great and small things that you do (and don’t do) make your houses homes of caring and comfort and your families circles of joy and hope. Your families are better because of you,” he added.
