MANILA, Philippines — An additional two million doses of AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on Saturday afternoon.

The vaccines arrived shortly before 1 p.m.

The latest batch of AstraZeneca vaccine doses were sent to the country by the COVAX Facility, a global initiative aimed at ensuring a fair and equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines.

The latest delivery brings the country’s supply of COVID-19 vaccine doses agains to over 7.5 million.
