MANILA, Philippines — No new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Filipinos abroad, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said on Sunday.
With no new cases, the total number of Filipinos overseas who are infected by COVID-19 remains at 18,380.
This number includes 5,959 active cases as well as 11,274 recoveries and 1,147 deaths.
According to the DFA, COVID-positive Filipinos are found in 94 countries around the globe. Of those infected, 10,453 are in the Middle East and Africa, 3,591 are in the Asia-Pacific region, 3,356 in Europe, and 980 in the Americas.
