MANILA, Philippines — San Juan City adjusted its curfew hours this December to allow its constituents to prepare for Christmas traditions, such as the Simbang Gabi.
Under City Ordinance No. 86, series of 2020, curfew hours were shortened from the current 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. to midnight until 3 a.m.

“This is to give our constituents ample time to prepare for the Christmas season and attend the traditional Simbang Gabi provided that they strictly follow the guidelines set by the IATF (Inter-Agency Task Force),” said City Mayor Francis Zamora in a statement.
