MANILA, Philippines — Metro Manila mayors have yet to reach a consensus on their quarantine status recommendation for the month of May, Paraaque City Mayor and Metro Manila Council (MMC) chairman Edwin Olivarez said Tuesday.
“Wala pa pong consensus until now ang ating Metro Manila Council tungkol po sa ating recommendation para sa ating quarantine sa darating na Mayo,” Olivarez said in an interview on Teleradyo.
(The Metro Manila Council has not yet reached a consensus on a recommendation for the May quarantine status.)
Olivarez said the MMC is expected to come out with a recommendation “within the day.”
