TUGUEGARAO CITY —- About 600 social workers, indigent senior citizens, and employees of enclosed facilities were inoculated with the CoronaVac vaccines inside a mall here on Wednesday, April 21.
Among those who volunteered to get vaccinated against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) was 77-year-old Gertrudes Candaroma, who said it would protect her from getting infected since some of her children are frontliners.
“Now, I feel that I have the shield,” she told the Inquirer.
Another elderly resident, 63-year-old Eutiguio Addun, lauded the city government for tapping the mall as one of the venues for the mass vaccination.
