Olongapo sees 1 COVID-19 death per day as toll rises to 58

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—Olongapo City has been recording one COVID-19 death per day for three consecutive days, according to officials.
In an advisory, Mayor Rolen Paulino said the latest fatality was a 51-year-old man from the village of Kalakan whose infection was confirmed only three days after his death on April 18.
Citing health data, Paulino said the patient experienced COVID-19 symptoms, like cough and fever. The man died of cardio pulmonary arrest and was declared dead on arrival at a hospital in the city.
The patient’s death raised to 58 the total COVID-19 fatalities in the city.
He was also listed as one of five new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday (April 20).
