MANILA, Philippines — The active COVID-19 cases as of Tuesday, April 13, zoomed to 165,534 after the Department of Health (DOH) tallied 8,571 new cases.
DOH’s COVID-19 bulletin also showed 137 new deaths due to the disease, bringing the death toll to 15,286. On the other hand, 400 more recovered patients push the total recovery count to 703,963.
There are now 884,783 confirmed COVID-19 cases since the health department started tallying coronavirus-infected patients.
