CITY OF CALAPAN —- Oriental Mindoro Gov. Humerlito Dolor revealed on Tuesday that the province recorded two cases of the United Kingdom variant of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The COVID-19 variant infected a resident of Barangay Camilmil in the provincial capital and another from Anoling village in Pinamalayan town.
In a video message Monday evening, Dolor said the patient from Camilmil is a staff member of a national government agency with an office in Calapan, who frequently travels in and out of the province.
The patient from Anoling is a Returning Overseas Filipino (ROF), he said.
