Curfew stays in Bacolod but no transition to GCQ seen

BACOLOD CITY—The city government will continue to enforce a curfew from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. and was likely to stay on modified general community quarantine as no request has been made to change it.

Mayor Evelio Leonardia said he gave orders to police, village officials and Task Force Disiplina, headed by Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran, to strictly enforce the curfew and a ban on consumption of alcoholic drinks in restaurants, hotels and eateries after the 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. window.

“We are asking the general public to report any violation. They may do it anonymously,” he said.
