MANILA, Philippines — Three more lawmakers in the House of Representatives have joined the political party Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD), bringing their numbers up to 45.

House Majority Leader Martin Romualdez, party president, said Cavite 2nd District Rep. Strike Revilla, Cagayan Rep. Samantha Vargas-Alfonso, and Davao Occidental Rep. Lorna Bautista-Bandigan have joined Lakas-CMD.

Revilla, formerly with the National Unity Party (NUP), was sworn in as a member of the political party on Sunday in a hybrid oath-taking ceremony held in Imus, Cavite.

“It is time to go back home. Lakas-CMD is home to our family, and it feels good to be back home,” Revilla said.
