MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte will deliver his regular public address Monday, Malacaang said, almost two weeks since his last public appearance.
“Monday,” was presidential spokesperson Harry Roque’s succinct reply to reporters when asked ofthe President’s next public appearance.
Roque also confirmed it will be Duterte’s regular “Talk to the People.”
The hashtag #NasaanAngPangulo earlier trended following Duterte’s failure to appear in his two succeeding public addresses, just when the country was hitting record-high single-day tallies of coronavirus cases, and record-high number of fatalities.
