CITY OF SAN FERNANDO —- Mayor Romulo Pecson of Magalang town in Pampanga announced Thursday that he tested positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Pecson also posted the result of his swab test on the official Facebook page of the Magalang local government.
He assured the public that he had not possibly spread the virus among his fellow government workers because he last came to the town hall on March 29. He said town was disinfected on March 31.
He said he got infected after being exposed to a COVID-19 patient who he did not name.
He reported “being in good condition” while in isolation.
