MANILA, Philippines — Paraaque City will distribute cash aid to qualified individuals affected by the implementation of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ), Mayor Edwin Olivarez said Monday.
Local government units (LGUs) in Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Cavite and Laguna can either distribute the aid worth P1,000, but not exceeding P4,000 per family, in cash or in-kind.
“Karamihan po sa amin, katulad po sa Paraaque, cash po ang ibibigay po namin, cash po ang ibibigay sa taumbayan,” Olivarez, who is also chair of the Metro Manila Council, said in an interview on Teleradyo.
