MANILA, Philippines — The prevailing liquor ban in Valenzuela City has been extended “indefinitely.”

In an advisory posted Friday on Facebook, the city government reminded constituents that buying and selling or trading, even drinking, of alcoholic drinks remain prohibited in the locality.

Valenzuela City’s liquor ban was supposed to last only until the end of the enhanced community quarantine in Metro Manila on April 4.

“The #LiquorBan in Valenzuela City is EXTENDED indefinitely. The sale, purchase, delivery, and consumption of alcoholic beverages are STILL prohibited in Valenzuela City,” the local government said.
