DAGUPAN CITY —- A 78-year-old man here allegedly shot and wounded his 33-year-old son during a heated argument on Tuesday evening, police said.
The suspect, Benjamin Pobleto of Barangay Bonuan Boquig in this city, used an undetermined caliber when he shot his son, August, multiple times around 8 p.m., investigators said.
The police have yet to determine the cause of the quarrel between the two, but investigators said it started when the son went to the suspect’s house.
The victim suffered bullet wounds to his right leg and was taken to a hospital for treatment. The police arrested the suspect.
