San Pablo logs 26 new COVID-19 cases; 8 seniors contract virus

LUCENA CITY —- Twenty-six new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases were recorded in San Pablo City, local authorities said on Monday.

Among the new patients are five males and three female senior citizens, according to a report from the city’s Anti-COVID-19 Task Force posted on social media on March 29.

The city has 235 active cases as of 3 p.m. on March 29., which were only 66 on March 1.

San Pablo has logged a total of 1,588 COVID-19 cases, 1,303 recoveries, and 50 fatalities since the pandemic started in March last year.

From March 1 to 29, a total of 331 COVID-19 cases were recorded compared to only 126 in February.
