DOH allots P548M to hire 7,613 health workers

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) has allocated a total of P548 million for the hiring of 7,613 health workers for January to June this year amid the renewed surge of COVID-19 infections.

In a statement on Thursday, the DOH said that as of March 25, it has “sub-allotted and transferred a total of Php 548,787,626.70 for a total of 7,613 hiring slots to the Center for Health Development Metro Manila, DOH retained and Specialty Hospitals, PGH (Philippine General Hospital) and other health facilities.”
