MANILA, Philippines—Private companies will propose the allocation of their AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine donations for Metro Manila, according to a presidential adviser, who said nobody, neither the government nor the vaccine maker, was forcing the firms to donate.

 

Joey Concepcion, presidential adviser for entreprenurship, said in a text message on Tuesday (March 23) that vaccine czar Carlito Galvez had given the companies the option to decide where their donations would go.
