SAN ANTONIO, Zambales —- The provincial government on Monday imposed a liquor ban and longer curfew to curb the rising number of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) patients.
In an executive order, Gov. Hermogenes Ebdane Jr. said the province-wide curfew would be from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. The curfew for minors is from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Only those who have legitimate and essential activity would be exempt from the curfew, he said.
Establishments and businesses will be allowed to operate only until 8 p.m. daily.
The executive order also mandates that no individual could sell, transport, and consume alcoholic beverages in public places during the curfew.
