MANILA, Philippines — Thirty out of 150 hospitals in Metro Manila were placed under critical status in terms of bed capacity solely for COVID-19 patients while 22 were listed under the high-risk status, based on the latest date from the Department of Health (DOH) as of March 20.
The figure for hospitals classified as critical increased from the previous 23, while hospitals listed under high-risk decreased from 23 last March 17.
Of the hospitals under critical status, 13 have already reached 100 percent bed occupancy, namely:
